1. Who we are
SitterDeck is a mobile application developed and operated by ThomTech Real Solutions S.L., a company registered in Spain.

2. What data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Account data: Your email address, used to create and authenticate your account.
- Pet care data: The pet profiles, care notes, and information you enter in the app. This is stored privately in your account and is only accessible to you.
- Photos: Pet profile photos you choose to upload. These are stored in your personal account storage.
- Voice recordings (Buddy AI): If you use the voice intake feature, your recording is sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription and then discarded. We do not store the audio file.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and operate the SitterDeck service
- To authenticate your account and keep your data secure
- To process voice input via OpenAI (Whisper transcription; GPT-4o for structured extraction)
- To generate pet caricature images via OpenAI image generation (if you use the trading card feature)
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to any third party.
4. Third-party services
SitterDeck uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase: authentication and database storage (servers in EU region). Supabase Privacy Policy.
- OpenAI: voice transcription (Whisper), field extraction (GPT-4o-mini), and pet caricature generation (gpt-image-1-mini). Audio and prompts are processed by OpenAI according to their API data policies. OpenAI Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat / Stripe: subscription and payment processing (coming soon). These services handle payment data independently; SitterDeck never sees your card number.
5. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. Access is restricted by row-level security. Only your authenticated account can read or write your data. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
6. Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing founders@sitterdeck.com. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

8. Children
SitterDeck is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
